A high-performing and welcoming secondary school in Hitchin is seeking a Drama Teacher to join its successful department on a full-time maternity cover contract from November 2026. The role includes teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4. The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and confident working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for a passionate and inspiring Drama Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) who can deliver engaging lessons and motivate students of all abilities. Applications are welcomed from both ECTs and experienced teachers. The successful candidate will have high expectations, a commitment to enriching students’ learning through extracurricular activities, and a collaborative approach to school life.
