Are you a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner looking for your next role near Colchester? We are working with a friendly early years setting that is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive. In this role, you will support children’s learning through play, contribute to engaging EYFS activities, complete observations and assessments, and build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. You’ll also help maintain high standards of safeguarding and wellbeing while supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery. The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare and have previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, or early years environment. A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development is essential, along with the ability to create engaging learning opportunities that support children’s individual needs. Applicants must hold a minimum Grade 4/C or above in GCSE English and Maths and demonstrate a caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach. Strong communication skills, reliability, and a commitment to safeguarding are key requirements of the role. Due to the location, access to your own transport would be advantageous. Candidates should be available to work Monday to Friday during term time and be committed to supporting children’s development through high-quality early years practice.
