4myschools are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and nurturing primary school seeking a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to support children within their Reception class. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is committed to helping young children develop confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning. Working closely with the Reception Teacher and wider Early Years team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality learning experiences that support children’s development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum. The successful candidate will help create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment, encourage learning through play, support phonics, literacy and numeracy activities, observe and record pupil progress, and provide tailored support for children with varying learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will assist with personal care where required, promote positive behaviour, support outdoor learning opportunities and build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents to ensure every child thrives. Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who holds a Level 3 Early Years Qualification or equivalent and has previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, Reception class or similar Early Years setting. Candidates should possess a minimum of GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths and have a sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development. Experience supporting children with SEND would be highly desirable. You will be patient, nurturing, organised and able to build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families. The successful candidate must be available to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, term time only, and ideally have access to their own transport to ensure reliable travel to the school.
