Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner looking for your next role in Braintree? 4myschools are working with a welcoming and nurturing early years setting seeking an enthusiastic practitioner to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development, working closely with colleagues to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), observing and assessing children’s progress, maintaining accurate learning records, supporting children’s personal, social and emotional development, and building positive relationships with parents and carers. You will also contribute to safeguarding and welfare procedures, ensuring that all children have the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and comfortable working with pupils in a Nursery setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification and have previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, or early years setting. A good understanding of the EYFS framework, child development, and safeguarding procedures is essential. Applicants must hold a minimum of Grade 4/C or above in GCSE English and Maths and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills. You will be caring, patient, reliable, and passionate about supporting young children during their early years education. The ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues is crucial. Due to the location of some settings, access to your own transport is desirable. Candidates should be available to work Monday to Friday during term time and be committed to maintaining high standards of care and education.
