Are you an experienced HLTA looking to make a genuine impact in a supportive and inclusive primary SEN setting? We are working with a small SEMH primary school in Northampton with 54 pupils across 6 classes, seeking a skilled and confident Level 4 HLTA to join their team.
The ideal candidate
You will be a great fit for this role if you hold a Level 4 HLTA qualification (or have equivalent experience) and have a strong background in supporting pupils with SEMH needs. You should feel confident delivering learning to whole classes, demonstrating effective behaviour management while maintaining a nurturing and trauma‑informed approach. A calm, resilient and positive attitude is essential, along with a genuine passion for helping children grow emotionally and academically.
