You will also be expected to uphold and support the Catholic values embedded within the school’s culture, promoting respect, inclusivity, and moral development among students.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and comfortable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal applicant will be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with proven experience teaching Geography and/or Religious Studies at secondary level, and the ability to deliver both subjects confidently is essential for this role. You will hold a minimum of Grade 4 (C) or above in GCSE Maths and English and demonstrate a clear understanding of curriculum expectations and effective teaching strategies. Experience working with mixed ability classes and supporting students with additional needs will be highly beneficial. You should be available full-time during term time, committed to consistent attendance, and possess excellent organisational and communication skills. A genuine passion for education, alongside a proactive and adaptable approach, will be key to succeeding in this role. Due to the location, access to reliable transport is strongly recommended.
