Are you an experienced KS2 Teacher looking for flexible, rewarding supply work in a supportive and welcoming primary school setting? At 4myschools, we are currently working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in the Essex area that is seeking a confident and adaptable KS2 Supply Teacher. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stage 2, maintaining classroom continuity, and upholding the school’s strong values around respect, curiosity and inclusion. Duties will include planning and delivering lessons in line with the National Curriculum (where required), marking work, managing classroom behaviour effectively, differentiating for varying abilities including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. This is a flexible supply role, ideal for teachers seeking a healthy work-life balance while still making a meaningful impact. Working hours are 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with bookings ranging from short-term daily cover to longer-term placements depending on your availability.

The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate should be proactive and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.
We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.
The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with proven experience teaching within KS2 and a solid understanding of the UK primary curriculum. A minimum of Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and English is essential. You will be confident delivering engaging lessons, adaptable to different school environments, and passionate about supporting pupil progress. Experience supporting SEN pupils or using differentiated teaching strategies will be highly advantageous. We are looking for reliable, committed professionals who are available for supply work on a flexible basis and can start immediately or at short notice. Due to the nature of supply work across different school locations, access to your own transport is strongly preferred. An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) is required.
