This role is based within a primary school supporting pupils across Key Stage 2, where learning is structured, purposeful, and supported by clear routines. The school promotes a positive and inclusive environment, with an emphasis on steady progress and consistent expectations for behaviour and learning. The fixed‑term nature of the role means you will become an integral part of the teaching team, whether working full time or on a part‑time basis. Staff collaboration and practical support are central to ensuring continuity for pupils throughout the placement.

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be committed  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

This position would suit a committed KS2 teacher who enjoys building relationships and providing stability over a defined period. You should be confident delivering the curriculum, adapting lessons to meet a range of learning needs, and maintaining a calm, well‑managed classroom. The role requires someone organised and proactive, able to follow school policies while contributing positively to the wider team. A reflective approach to teaching and a focus on pupil engagement will be key to success.

Essential requirements

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – we can help you apply. 
Right to work in the UK. 
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
Qualified Teacher Status is required for this role. 
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 is desirable. 
Availability to commit to a fixed‑term contract on a full‑time or part‑time basis is essential.
