We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Norwich on a full-time, long-term supply basis with an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to become part of a successful Maths department, teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 and helping students develop confidence and achievement in mathematics. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, and creating a positive learning environment where all students can thrive. Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be committed  and capable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Maths Teacher with QTS (or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification) who has experience teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4. They will be passionate about their subject, capable of delivering engaging and differentiated lessons, and committed to raising attainment for pupils of all abilities. Strong classroom management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents are essential. The successful applicant will be adaptable, reliable, and confident stepping into a long-term supply role, quickly becoming part of the wider school community. They will have a proactive approach to planning, assessment, and tracking pupil progress, while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement. Whether an experienced Maths Teacher or an ambitious Early Career Teacher, they will be enthusiastic about making a positive impact on students’ learning and contributing to the success of a supportive secondary school in Norwich.
