In this role, you will be supporting young children within the nursery or early years setting, assisting with learning activities, encouraging positive development through play, supporting communication and social interaction, preparing resources, maintaining a safe learning environment and working closely with the class teacher and early years team to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse or Teaching Assistant with previous experience working within an EYFS or primary school setting. Applicants must hold a minimum of Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths, have a Level 3 childcare qualification, and have a confident understanding of child development and safeguarding. The successful candidate will be available Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 12:30pm, for the duration of this short-term cover assignment and be able to travel reliably to the school each day.
