New opportunity! Part Time SEN LSA – 3 Days per Week – Sudbury
4myschools are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school setting to recruit a committed and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils with additional needs, working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored interventions and provide 1:1 or small group support. You will help to adapt learning activities, reinforce key curriculum concepts and positively manage behaviour, ensuring all pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day. Candidate profile
The ideal candidate should be committed and capable working with pupils in a SEN School setting.
The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and resilient individual who has prior experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, particularly within SEN settings, or someone with strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and/or special educational needs. You should be comfortable supporting children with a range of additional needs and have a patient, proactive approach to behaviour and engagement. Availability to work 3 days per week is essential, and flexibility to support across different year groups would be advantageous. A relevant qualification in supporting teaching and learning or SEN is desirable, alongside strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Access to your own transport is beneficial.
