New opening! Primary Reception Teacher – Sheringham

We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Sheringham area from September, working one day per week to support our early years provision. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strong EYFS knowledge and a nurturing approach to help our youngest learners thrive, while working closely with the existing team to deliver high‑quality, play‑based learning. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or someone looking for a part‑time role within a supportive, community‑focused school. The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate for this part‑time Reception Teacher role is someone who brings warmth, creativity and a deep understanding of early years development, even within a one‑day‑a‑week commitment. They are confident delivering high‑quality, play‑based learning, able to build strong relationships quickly with young children, and skilled at creating a nurturing, structured environment where pupils feel safe, supported and excited to learn. They work collaboratively with the existing EYFS team, communicate clearly, and can slot seamlessly into established routines while still bringing fresh ideas and enthusiasm. Whether an experienced EYFS specialist or a talented teacher seeking a part‑time role, they are patient, organised, and passionate about giving Reception children the very best start to their school journey
