Are you a passionate Primary Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in Eye and the surrounding Suffolk villages? We are seeking dedicated and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of friendly village primary schools, covering classes from EYFS through to Year 6. This role offers day-to-day supply work with the possibility of securing longer-term positions for teachers looking for more consistent placements. About the Schools You will be working in a variety of small village schools that sit at the heart of their local communities. These schools offer a welcoming and supportive environment where staff work closely together to provide a positive learning experience for every child. With smaller class sizes and strong links to families, village schools provide a rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a real impact on pupils’ learning and development. The Role As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across the primary age range, following school planning where provided and maintaining established classroom routines. You will support pupils’ academic progress, create a positive learning environment, and adapt confidently to different year groups and school settings. Whether covering a Nursery class, supporting a KS1 classroom, or teaching Upper KS2 pupils, your role will be essential in ensuring continuity of learning.

• Contract type: PART_TIME, FULL_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic teacher who enjoys working across different age groups and can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff. You will have strong classroom management skills, a nurturing approach, and the confidence to teach from EYFS through to Year 6. This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to gain experience across a variety of primary settings.
