New opportunity! Secondary Cover Supervisor – Norwich

Are you confident leading a classroom and looking for flexible work within education? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to support a range of secondary schools across the Norwich area from September. Opportunities are available on an ad hoc basis, with work ranging from 1 to 5 days per week, depending on school requirements and your availability. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged with the work that has been set and maintaining a positive learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience. The successful candidate will have strong communication and behaviour management skills, a confident and professional approach, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and school staff. Previous experience working within a school setting is advantageous but not essential. In return, we offer competitive daily rates of pay, access to a variety of local secondary schools, flexible work that fits around your commitments, and ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant. If you are adaptable, proactive and eager to make a difference in local schools, we would love to hear from you ahead of the new academic year.

  • Contract duration: Temporary (Short Term)
  • Contract type: TEMPORARY – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30
  • Age groups: Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4
