Supply teachers play a vital role in ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive classroom experience for pupils. The Role As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across your subject specialism or provide general cover where required. You will maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning, ensuring students remain engaged and productive throughout the school day. The role requires confidence, adaptability, and the ability to quickly establish positive relationships within different school environments. Key Responsibilities Deliver lessons in line with school expectations and planning provided. Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment. Manage behaviour effectively and professionally. Support students’ academic progress and wellbeing. Adapt quickly to different schools, departments, and teaching requirements. Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons covered.
