In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet a wide range of complex needs. You will work closely with support staff to implement individual education plans, embed therapeutic approaches into daily teaching, and create a positive and stimulating learning environment. A key part of your role will be to promote communication, independence and confidence, whilst maintaining high expectations and ensuring all pupils can access a meaningful curriculum. You will also contribute to assessment, track progress effectively, and build strong partnerships with families and colleagues to support each student’s journey.

• Contract type: FULL_TIME, PART_TIME, TEMPORARY – Hours: 08:30-4:30
• Age groups: Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

he successful candidate will be a committed and enthusiastic Teacher with experience working with pupils with special educational needs, either within a specialist setting or a mainstream environment. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of how to adapt teaching to suit individual learning styles and needs, particularly for pupils with SLD, PMLD and autism. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, alongside a proactive and positive approach to behaviour management and student development. You must have a genuine passion for inclusive education. This role would suit both experienced teachers and those earlier in their career who are keen to develop within SEN.
