A lovely primary school in Braintree provides a structured yet supportive learning environment for pupils across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. A strong emphasis on routine and clear expectations helps create a calm atmosphere where children feel settled and ready to engage in their learning. Supply teachers are welcomed as part of the wider team and contribute significantly to maintaining consistency within the classroom. The four-day teaching pattern enables the successful candidate to build strong relationships with pupils while delivering continuous, well-supported learning across the week.

• Contract duration: Contract (Fixed Duration)
• Contract type: FULL_TIME – Hours: 08:15-3:15pm
• Age groups: Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

This role would suit a flexible and reliable supply teacher who is confident working with a range of primary age groups. You will be comfortable adapting your teaching style to meet the differing needs of younger and older pupils, following school planning and maintaining positive behaviour. A calm, organised approach and the ability to quickly establish rapport are essential. Teachers who enjoy variety while still having consistency during the week will be well matched to this position.
