This is a one-form entry primary school with a calm and well-structured environment, where collaboration between staff is central to daily practice. The school promotes a supportive atmosphere for both pupils and teachers, with clear routines and shared expectations across Key Stage 2. As part of a job share in Year 4, you will work closely with a partner teacher to ensure continuity of learning, planning together to maintain consistency across the week. The school values open communication and places importance on smooth handovers to support pupils’ progress and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher who enjoys working as part of a team and can contribute effectively within a job share arrangement. You will be confident delivering engaging lessons in a KS2 classroom and able to adapt your teaching to meet a range of learning needs. Strong organisational skills are important to ensure planning, marking, and communication are aligned with your job share partner. A positive and consistent approach to classroom management will support a productive and settled learning environment.

Essential requirements

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – we can help you apply. 
Right to work in the UK. 
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. 
Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2 is preferred. 
Availability to work Thursdays and Fridays on an ongoing basis. 
Ability to collaborate effectively with a job share partner, including shared planning responsibilities.
