At 4myschools, we are working closely with welcoming early years settings across Norwich, including the NR5 and NR8 areas, to recruit enthusiastic Level 2 Nursery Practitioners for a mix of long‑term and daily supply roles. These nurturing settings place a strong emphasis on child‑centred learning, emotional wellbeing and early development, offering engaging indoor and outdoor environments that support the EYFS curriculum. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning through purposeful play, assisting with daily routines, observing and recording progress, and working collaboratively with staff to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment. You may also support children with additional needs, helping them to access learning and build confidence during their early years journey. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) and have previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting. You will have a sound understanding of the EYFS framework, a caring and patient approach, and the ability to adapt confidently to different settings. Flexibility is essential, whether you are seeking regular long‑term placements or day‑to‑day supply work, with typical working hours falling within the nursery day. Due to the locations of some settings, access to transport is highly desirable. About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) and have previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting. You will have a sound understanding of the EYFS framework and be confident supporting children through play‑based learning, daily routines and personal care where required. A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach is essential, along with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents. Successful applicants will be flexible, reliable and adaptable, able to settle quickly into different nursery environments and work confidently on both a day‑to‑day supply basis and within longer‑term placements. Availability during typical nursery operating hours is essential, alongside a clear understanding of safeguarding procedures and a genuine commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for all children, with ongoing support provided by your dedicated 4myschools consultant.
