At 4myschools, we are delighted to be working in partnership with a number of friendly and supportive early years settings across Norwich, including the NR5 and NR8 areas, to recruit experienced and passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioners for a combination of long‑term and daily supply roles. These well‑established settings offer warm, nurturing environments where children are encouraged to learn through purposeful play, exploration and positive relationships. As a Level 3 Practitioner, you will take an active role in supporting the delivery of the EYFS curriculum, planning and leading engaging activities, carrying out observations and contributing to children’s learning records. You will support children’s personal, social and emotional development, assist with daily routines, and work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment. Opportunities may include supporting children with additional needs, using a child‑centred approach to help every learner feel confident, valued and supported.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) and have proven experience working within a nursery or early years setting. You will have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework, be confident leading activities and supporting key children, and demonstrate a nurturing, professional and proactive approach to early years practice. Successful applicants will be flexible and reliable, able to adapt quickly to different settings and work effectively on both day‑to‑day supply assignments and longer‑term placements, depending on availability. You will have a clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to promoting children’s wellbeing, development and early learning, with ongoing guidance and support provided by your dedicated 4myschools consultant.
