This primary school provides an Early Years setting where routines are clear and children are supported to develop confidence, communication and independence. Staff work closely as a team to create a calm, purposeful environment that balances structured learning with play‑based exploration. The Early Years team is well established, with Teaching Assistants playing a consistent role throughout the school day. Support is practical, hands‑on and focused on helping children feel secure and ready to learn.

• Contract type: FULL_TIME – Hours: 8.00-3.30
• Age groups: Nursery

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary Schools, Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with young children and understand how early experiences shape later learning. They will be patient, observant and comfortable supporting children at different developmental stages. A flexible approach is important, as the role involves moving between activities and responding to pupils’ needs as they arise. Someone who works well alongside teachers and contributes positively to the classroom atmosphere will thrive in this setting. A Level 3 qualification in EYFS will be essential for this role.
