Immediate opportunity! SEN TA – Hertford

We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Hertford that is looking for a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. The role will involve supporting pupils with additional needs, either on a 1:1 basis or within small groups, helping them to access learning, build confidence and engage positively in the classroom.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will be patient, compassionate and genuinely passionate about supporting children with additional needs. Previous SEN experience would be desirable but is not essential, as candidates with transferable experience and the right attitude are also encouraged to apply. You should be confident building positive relationships with pupils, able to adapt your approach to meet individual needs and enjoy working as part of a supportive school team. A calm, encouraging and proactive approach will be key to helping pupils develop their independence, confidence and love of learning.
