New opportunity! Daily Supply Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Fakenham

4myschools is currently seeking dedicated, confident and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join our supply team working across a variety of welcoming primary schools in Fakenham and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HLTAs who are looking for the flexibility to choose their working days while continuing to make a meaningful difference to children’s education and development. As a Daily Supply HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across a range of year groups and educational settings. Working on a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged, challenged and supported throughout the school day. You may be asked to lead whole-class learning, supervise and facilitate group activities, deliver targeted interventions, and provide additional support to pupils who require extra assistance to access the curriculum. The schools we work with pride themselves on creating inclusive, nurturing and stimulating learning environments where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. They place a strong emphasis on developing confidence, resilience, independence and a lifelong love of learning. As a supply HLTA, you will have the opportunity to work within a variety of school communities, each offering unique experiences whilst sharing a commitment to high standards of education, pupil wellbeing and safeguarding. Your duties may include delivering lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting children with varying academic abilities, implementing behaviour management strategies, assessing pupil understanding during lessons and feeding back to teaching staff. You may also be required to provide intervention support in literacy and numeracy, assist with the preparation of classroom resources, support educational visits and contribute to creating a positive and productive learning environment. Many schools require support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, social, emotional and mental health needs, and moderate learning difficulties. Therefore, experience supporting children with additional needs would be highly advantageous. Supply work offers an ideal opportunity for professionals who enjoy variety and wish to broaden their experience across different school settings. Whether you are an experienced HLTA looking for greater flexibility or a skilled Teaching Assistant ready to utilise your knowledge and classroom leadership skills, this role can provide rewarding and varied experiences while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
