Are you a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner looking for flexible work across a variety of nursery settings? 4myschools is recruiting a pool of enthusiastic and dedicated bank staff to support private nurseries and nursery settings attached to schools across Chelmsford and the surrounding Essex area. With an immediate start available and ongoing opportunities, this role offers flexibility to suit your availability, whether you are seeking full-time or part-time work. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support children aged 6 months to 5 years old, helping to create engaging learning experiences and ensuring high standards of care throughout the day. You will work closely with nursery teams to support children’s development, wellbeing, and daily routines.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and confident working with pupils in a Nursery setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for practitioners who are passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development in a nurturing environment. Successful candidates will be adaptable, reliable, and confident working within different nursery settings. You should have excellent communication skills and a positive approach to working as part of a team.

What you need to start

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – we can help you apply. 
Right to work in the UK. 
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification 
Experience working with children aged 0-5 years 
Willingness to work flexible shifts between 7am – 6pm
