We are seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) across all secondary subject areas to work in schools throughout Ipswich on a flexible supply basis. About the Schools We work with a range of supportive secondary schools across Ipswich, each offering a unique environment, culture, and approach to teaching and learning. Supply work provides an excellent opportunity to experience different school settings, age groups, and departmental structures, helping you identify the type of school where you will thrive as you begin your teaching career. Schools value ECTs who bring enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and a willingness to learn. The Role As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons within your subject specialism, support students’ learning, and gain valuable classroom experience across a variety of schools. This role allows you to develop your classroom management skills, build confidence, and broaden your understanding of different school environments before committing to your ECT induction. Whether you’re looking for a few days each week or full-time supply work, there are opportunities to suit your availability.

The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic and comfortable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.
