Immediate opportunity! EYFS Teacher – Ipswich
We are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic EYFS Supply Teacher to provide cover across Reception and Nursery classes in a range of welcoming primary schools in the Ipswich area. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety, building relationships quickly, and supporting young learners during the crucial early stages of their education.About the Schools You will be working across a variety of primary schools that place a strong emphasis on creating engaging, inclusive, and nurturing learning environments. These schools are committed to supporting children’s early development through play-based learning, structured routines, and positive relationships. As a supply teacher, you will become an important part of the school day, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a calm and supportive classroom atmosphere. The Role As an EYFS Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons and activities, support children’s learning and development, and create a positive environment where young learners feel safe and encouraged to participate. You will adapt to different school settings while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and engagement. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging EYFS lessons and activities. Provide cover across Nursery and Reception classes. Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Follow school policies and routines effectively. Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents where required.

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate should be motivated and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.
This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.
The successful candidate will be a confident and adaptable practitioner who enjoys working with young children and can quickly integrate into different school environments. You will have a nurturing approach, strong classroom management skills, and a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum. Previous experience teaching within Nursery or Reception is highly desirable.

Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable).
Dedication to safeguarding children.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous EYFS teaching experience is desirable.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.
