Are you a passionate and nurturing Level 3 Nursery Practitioner looking for your next opportunity near Orsett? As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver engaging play-based learning experiences, support children’s personal, social and emotional development, observe and assess progress, maintain accurate records, contribute to planning activities linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and welfare are maintained at all times. You will build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff whilst supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the setting.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare and have previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, or early years environment. A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development is essential, along with the ability to create engaging learning opportunities that support children’s individual needs. Applicants must hold a minimum Grade 4/C or above in GCSE English and Maths and demonstrate a caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach. Strong communication skills, reliability, and a commitment to safeguarding are key requirements of the role. Due to the location, access to your own transport would be advantageous. Candidates should be available to work Monday to Friday during term time and be committed to supporting children’s development through high-quality early years practice.
