About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be committed  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and adaptable HLTA with previous experience working within primary school settings, either in a supply or permanent capacity. You will hold a recognised HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience) and have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum, with the ability to confidently lead whole-class learning when required. Experience supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN, is highly desirable, alongside a calm, positive approach to behaviour management. We are looking for professionals who are flexible, reliable and available for day-to-day and/or longer-term supply across Norwich. Due to the nature of supply work, access to your own transport or the ability to travel between local schools is essential. Most roles will be during standard school hours (typically 8:30am–3:30pm), offering excellent flexibility to suit your availability.
