New opportunity! Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Attleborough

4myschools are currently recruiting passionate and adaptable Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work within a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Attleborough and the surrounding areas. We are offering both flexible daily supply work and rewarding long-term placements, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced HLTAs looking to broaden their experience while maintaining control over their work-life balance. As a Primary HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will be responsible for leading whole-class lessons during teacher absences, delivering pre-planned learning activities, and ensuring pupils remain engaged, motivated and focused throughout the school day. Working closely with class teachers and senior leaders, you will support the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum while helping pupils to achieve their academic and personal potential. The role offers significant variety, with opportunities to provide targeted intervention support, lead small group activities, and work one-to-one with pupils who require additional assistance. You may be supporting children with a range of learning needs, including SEND, helping to adapt learning resources and strategies to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum successfully. Strong behaviour management skills will be essential as you create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel supported, valued and encouraged to succeed. Whether working on a daily supply basis or within a longer-term assignment, you will become an important part of each school community, building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in different educational settings and enjoy the challenge and reward that comes from supporting children across a range of age groups and abilities. Daily supply work provides flexibility and variety, while long-term positions offer the opportunity to develop deeper relationships within a school and contribute consistently to pupils’ progress and achievement. Attleborough schools continue to seek talented support staff who can demonstrate initiative, resilience and a genuine passion for education. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference every day while developing your own skills and experience across a variety of primary settings.

  • Contract duration: Supply Teacher, Temporary (Short Term)
  • Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 08:30-3.:30
  • Age groups: Primary School
