4myschools are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary HLTAs to join our supply team to support a range of welcoming primary schools in and around Wymondham. We have flexible daily supply opportunities alongside rewarding long-term placements, offering the perfect balance for experienced education professionals looking to make a positive impact while maintaining flexibility in their working week. Working across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning, delivering planned lessons during teacher absence, leading whole-class activities, providing intervention support, and assisting pupils to achieve their full potential. You will help create positive and engaging learning environments, promote excellent behaviour for learning, and support children with varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs and SEND requirements. These roles offer excellent opportunities to gain experience across different primary settings while building strong relationships within local school communities.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor within a primary school environment and be confident supporting learning across EYFS through to KS2. A recognised HLTA qualification is desirable, although candidates with substantial classroom experience and the confidence to lead lessons will also be considered. You must hold a minimum of GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in both English and Maths and demonstrate strong communication, organisational and behaviour management skills. Experience supporting pupils with SEND, delivering interventions, and adapting learning to meet individual pupil needs would be advantageous. Due to the nature of supply work and travel between schools in Wymondham and surrounding areas, access to reliable transport is highly desirable.
