This role works across a group of established primary schools in Colchester, supporting KS2 classes during planned supply cover. The schools offer structured, purposeful learning environments where expectations are clear and pupils are accustomed to consistent routines. Staff teams are collaborative and practical, ensuring supply teachers are well briefed and able to step into lessons smoothly. The role fits naturally into the school day, providing continuity for pupils while maintaining the pace and standards of learning.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

This position is well suited to a KS2 teacher who is confident leading a class independently and keeping learning on track using prepared resources. You will be adaptable and calm in your approach, able to establish expectations quickly and respond positively to different school settings. A secure understanding of the KS2 curriculum and the ability to explain concepts clearly will support pupil engagement and progress. Professionalism, reliability and a consistent classroom presence are key to succeeding in this role.
