Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and comfortable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status with a relevant degree and have secure subject knowledge in Physical Education. Applications are warmly welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs starting their career in September 2026. You will be reflective in your practice, committed to raising attainment through high expectations and inclusive teaching, and confident in embedding ambition and resilience in all students. A strong understanding of PE programmes of study and the ability to build positive relationships are essential, as is the ability to travel reliably to a secondary school in the Wellingborough area.
