Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate and dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher with a positive and flexible approach to teaching. They will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a good understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, with the ability to deliver engaging lessons that inspire and support young learners. The successful candidate will be confident managing a classroom, adapting quickly to different teaching environments, and building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. They will be reliable, professional, and enthusiastic about maintaining continuity of learning when providing cover. Strong communication and classroom management skills are essential, along with a commitment to promoting a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. This role would suit both experienced teachers seeking flexible work and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable classroom experience, develop their confidence, and broaden their teaching skills across a variety of KS1 settings.
