Current opening! Primary Supply KS2 Class Teacher – Norwich
We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable KS2 Supply Primary Class Teacher to work in a welcoming primary school in North Norwich from September on an ad hoc, as-required basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher who enjoys flexibility and variety, whether you are looking to supplement existing work commitments or are seeking regular supply opportunities within a supportive school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 2, maintaining high standards of classroom management, and ensuring pupils remain motivated and focused while following the school’s policies and procedures. You will be confident stepping into different year groups as required and creating a positive learning environment that supports pupil achievement and wellbeing. To be considered, you must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching within a UK primary school setting, ideally across KS2. Strong communication skills, flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach are essential. Candidate profile
The ideal candidate should be motivated and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.
This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate, flexible, and reliable Primary Teacher with experience teaching across Key Stage 2. They will be confident stepping into the classroom at short notice, quickly building positive relationships with pupils and staff, and delivering engaging lessons that maintain continuity of learning. They will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess strong classroom management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a positive, adaptable approach to teaching. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across different year groups within KS2, following lesson plans where provided, and using their initiative to ensure high standards are maintained. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting children’s development, committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, and able to remain calm, professional, and effective in a variety of classroom settings. Previous supply teaching experience would be advantageous but is not essential, making this role suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will enjoy the flexibility that ad hoc supply work offers and be able to provide a dependable service to the school as and when cover is required from September onwards.
