The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and confident working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate is a motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is eager to gain experience, develop their teaching skills and establish themselves within the secondary education sector. You will hold, or be on track to achieve, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a genuine passion for your subject and helping young people succeed. You will be confident, adaptable and willing to embrace the variety that supply teaching offers. Whether you’re teaching in a large academy, a smaller community school or a diverse urban setting, you’ll be able to quickly build positive relationships with students and staff, deliver engaging lessons and maintain high standards of learning. This role is perfect for an ECT who wants to broaden their experience before committing to a permanent position. The ideal candidate will recognise the value of working in different schools, using each placement as an opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues, explore different teaching approaches and discover the environment where they can thrive professionally.
