Immediate opportunity! Primary Supply Teacher – Ware

4myschools are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school setting in Ware, Hertfordshire, to recruit a passionate and adaptable Primary Supply Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and those with strong curriculum knowledge or a keen interest in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). As a supply teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2, maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment, and adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners. You will follow provided lesson plans, assess pupil engagement, and ensure continuity in learning, while also supporting the wider ethos and values of the school. This role offers flexibility alongside the rewarding experience of making a real impact on pupils’ education. Working hours are 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only, with bookings ranging from short-term cover to longer-term placements depending on your availability.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be committed  and comfortable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of GCSE Grade 4 (or C) in English and Maths and possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching experience within a primary school setting. You will have a confident understanding of the UK primary curriculum and ideally some experience or interest in supporting pupils with additional needs such as SEND. We are looking for professionals who are reliable, flexible, and confident in managing different classroom environments at short notice. Strong behaviour management skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude are essential. Candidates should be available for supply work during term time and have access to their own transport or be able to travel reliably to schools in and around Ware.
