This position is based in a primary school in Witham that offers a welcoming and organised setting for staff and pupils. Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

The successful applicant will be someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful candidate will be confident working with younger pupils and able to create an engaging and supportive classroom experience. You will bring a patient and encouraging approach, helping children develop key skills in a structured environment. Flexibility and strong organisation will support you in managing your two teaching days effectively. The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues will contribute to a settled and productive classroom.

What you’ll need to apply

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – we can help you apply. 
Right to work in the UK. 
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required. 
Availability to work two days per week on a long-term basis. 
Experience within Key Stage 1, particularly Year 1, is advantageous. 
Confidence in delivering phonics and early curriculum content is beneficial.
