Year 2 teaching role is based in a welcoming primary school in Aveley that places a strong emphasis on clear routines, positive behaviour, and consistent expectations. The school provides a nurturing and well‑structured learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

The ideal candidate should be committed  and capable working with pupils in a Primary Schools setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

This role would suit someone who brings a confident presence into the classroom and can build positive relationships with pupils from the outset. You will be comfortable leading lessons using provided plans, keeping pupils engaged and responding calmly to behavioural needs as they arise. Flexibility is key, as you may be working across different year groups and adapting your approach to suit varying classroom dynamics. A clear, professional communication style will support effective collaboration with staff and help create a settled, purposeful learning environment.
