Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference while securing long-term or permanent opportunities? We are currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants and specialist support staff for schools and specialist provisions near Harlow, Ware and Bishop’s Stortford. These roles are focused on long-term placements with strong potential to move into permanent positions, making them ideal for TA’s and LSA’s seeking stability, progression and a meaningful career within education. Working within specialist settings, you will be supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including complex needs, SLCN, personal care and sensory needs. Your role may involve providing 1:1 or 2:1 support, helping pupils develop communication skills, emotional regulation and confidence, as well as supporting their access to learning. You will work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs and external professionals to ensure pupils receive consistent and high-quality support. We are looking for individuals who are resilient, patient and committed to providing consistent support over longer-term placements. Previous experience working with children or young people with additional needs is highly desirable, whether through SEN support roles, care work, behaviour mentoring, youth work or mental health support. You should be calm under pressure, able to build trust with pupils and demonstrate a reliable and professional approach to your work. A strong work ethic and willingness to commit to long-term or temp-to-perm opportunities is essential, as schools are looking for individuals who can become a valued part of their team. Given the nature of these roles and the locations involved, a full driving licence and access to a car is essential.
