4myschools are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join our supply team and work across a variety of welcoming and inclusive primary schools throughout Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HLTAs who enjoy the variety that supply work offers and are looking for the flexibility to choose when and where they work. Covering classes from EYFS through to KS2, you will play a vital role in maintaining engaging learning environments while supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities will include leading whole-class learning during teacher absence, delivering planned lessons, supporting small groups and individual learners, promoting positive behaviour and ensuring that all pupils remain engaged and motivated throughout the school day. You may also provide targeted intervention support and assist pupils with additional learning or SEND requirements where needed. Working across a range of school settings, you will have the opportunity to build valuable experience while making a positive impact in local primary schools.

About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for confident and reliable HLTAs who have previous experience working within a primary school setting and are comfortable covering classes across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Candidates should possess strong curriculum knowledge and be able to adapt quickly to different classroom environments. Experience supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND, would be highly beneficial. Applicants must hold a minimum of GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English and Maths, alongside a recognised HLTA qualification or substantial classroom-based experience. A flexible approach, excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning are essential. Due to travelling between different schools across Norwich and the surrounding areas, access to reliable transport is highly desirable.
