New opening! Art Supply Teacher – Norwich
We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and adaptable Secondary Art Supply Teacher to join our pool of talented educators supporting a school in Norwich. This role is perfect for teachers who are passionate about inspiring young people through art and enjoy the variety that supply work offers. Whether you specialise in fine art, photography, textiles, or mixed media, your skills will help students explore their creativity and develop confidence in their artistic abilities. As a supply teacher, you will deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4, following existing schemes of work and ensuring continuity of learning during staff absences. You’ll bring strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management, and the ability to quickly build rapport with students. Your role will involve guiding learners through practical activities, supporting their creative development, and maintaining a positive, well‑organised classroom environment. This position offers the freedom to choose assignments that suit your schedule, from single‑day cover to longer‑term placements. You will be supported by a dedicated team who will match you with suitable schools and provide ongoing guidance throughout your supply journey. About the ideal candidate
The ideal candidate should be proactive and comfortable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.
This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.
The ideal candidate will be a creative, adaptable, and confident Art specialist who can step into different classroom environments and deliver engaging lessons with ease. They will have strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic disciplines and the ability to inspire students of varying abilities. Excellent classroom management, clear communication, and a calm, positive presence are essential, as supply work often requires quick thinking and the ability to build rapport rapidly.
