We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Secondary Economics Supply Teacher to join our pool of high‑quality educators supporting schools in Norwich. Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate should be motivated and confident working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.
We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.
In this role, you will deliver high‑quality Economics lessons to KS4 and KS5 students, ensuring continuity of learning during staff absences. You will follow existing schemes of work, adapt materials where needed, and create a positive and engaging classroom environment that supports students’ understanding of core economic concepts. Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management are essential, as you will often be required to step into lessons at short notice and maintain a productive learning atmosphere. You will also be responsible for assessing student progress during your cover period, providing clear guidance, feedback, and support to help learners stay on track. Building quick rapport with students, collaborating professionally with school staff, and upholding the school’s policies and safeguarding standards are key parts of the role. Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work effectively across different school settings will ensure you succeed in this varied and rewarding position.
