Immediate opportunity! KS1 Teacher – Felixstowe

This role involves working on a supply basis across primary schools in Felixstowe, supporting Key Stage 1 pupils. The schools provide a well-organised and nurturing environment, where clear routines help younger learners feel secure and engaged. You will step into established classrooms to deliver pre-planned lessons or manage the day’s learning, depending on the setting. Staff teams are typically welcoming and provide guidance to ensure continuity for pupils throughout the school day.

• Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30
• Age groups: Key Stage 1

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and confident working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will have a patient and adaptable approach, with the ability to create a positive and structured learning environment for younger pupils. Confidence in managing daily classroom routines and supporting early learning is important in this role. You should be comfortable adjusting quickly to new school settings and building rapport with pupils and staff. A proactive attitude and clear communication style will help ensure smooth and effective classroom delivery.

Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred for this role. 
Experience working within a KS1 setting is advantageous.
