The ideal candidate should be committed  and capable working with pupils in a Secondary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will be a confident, adaptable and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with young people and is passionate about supporting their learning and development. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff, and the confidence to manage a classroom effectively in the absence of the regular teacher. The successful candidate will be organised, reliable and able to remain calm under pressure, ensuring lessons run smoothly while maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement. They will be flexible in their approach, comfortable working across a range of subjects and year groups, and capable of following school policies and procedures consistently. Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable, whether gained through education, coaching, youth work, tutoring or other relevant settings, although individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a teaching career are also encouraged to apply.
