We are currently recruiting reliable and adaptable Teaching Assistants to support on a daily supply and long-term basis, offering flexibility alongside the chance to secure consistent, rewarding placements. In this role, you will support teachers and HLTAs in delivering high-quality learning across the classroom, helping to create an enjoyable and engaging experience for pupils. You will work closely with individuals and small groups, providing targeted support tailored to a range of needs, including pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEND). Responsibilities will include assisting with lesson delivery, adapting activities to suit different abilities, promoting positive behaviour, and supporting pupils’ emotional and academic development. You will also contribute to classroom organisation, help monitor pupil progress in line with the National Curriculum, and ensure pupils remain focused, supported, and encouraged throughout their learning journey.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and comfortable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

We are looking for someone who is a confident and capable Teaching Assistant with recent experience in a primary school setting and a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and current assessment expectations. You will be passionate about making learning accessible and enjoyable, with the ability to support children with a wide range of needs under the direction of a teacher or HLTA. The ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents is essential, alongside maintaining high expectations of behaviour, effort, and attitude. You should be proactive, adaptable, and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a dedicated team. A minimum of Grade 4 (C) or above in GCSE Maths and English is required. Candidates must be available Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm during term time, and have access to reliable transport to travel to schools within the Great Yarmouth area. Opportunities are available on both a flexible daily supply basis and in longer-term placements.
