About the ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

We are looking for a candidate who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful candidate will bring a confident and adaptable approach to delivering the KS1 curriculum, with a clear understanding of Year 2 expectations. They will be comfortable taking full responsibility for planning, marking and assessment, ensuring continuity in pupil progress across their working days. A proactive and organised teacher who can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues will thrive in this setting. Flexibility and a strong classroom presence will be key to maintaining consistency in teaching and learning.

What you’ll need to apply

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – we can help you apply. 
Right to work in the UK. 
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is expected for this role. 
Experience teaching within KS1, ideally Year 2, is preferred. 
The post involves full teaching responsibilities including planning, preparation and assessment. 
Availability for a September start is required.
