This is a welcoming primary school setting supporting pupils across Key Stage 2, with a strong focus on preparing Year 6 pupils for the transition to secondary education. The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate should be proactive  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The successful teacher will be confident working with Year 6 pupils and able to adapt their approach across flexible working days. They will bring a calm, organised presence to the classroom, supporting pupils with both academic learning and readiness for SATs where required. A collaborative mindset is important, as the role will involve working alongside other staff to maintain consistency for the class. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable managing routines, supporting pupil engagement, and maintaining clear expectations.

What you need to start

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – we can help you apply. 
Right to work in the UK. 
Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable). 
Dedication to safeguarding children. 
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is expected. 
Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 6, is beneficial. 
Confidence delivering core subjects in line with the national curriculum is required.
