This primary school in Stowmarket offers a friendly and well‑structured learning environment where staff work closely to provide consistency for pupils. This role forms part of a planned job‑share arrangement, helping to ensure continuity across the week and the wider academic year. Collaboration with colleagues is central to maintaining a settled and purposeful classroom experience.

• Contract type: PART_TIME – Hours: 8:30 – 3:30
• Age groups: Year 3

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should be motivated  and capable working with pupils in a Primary School setting.

This role would suit someone who can build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and support pupils with a range of learning needs.

The ideal candidate will be a committed Year 3 teacher who enjoys building strong relationships with pupils and supporting them as they develop confidence and independence. They will be comfortable working within a job‑share model and able to pick up learning smoothly at the start of each week. A thoughtful, organised approach to teaching and assessment will support consistency for the class. Strong communication with colleagues will be key to ensuring shared expectations and progression.

Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable).

The role is for Mondays and Tuesdays across the full academic year.
