Daily Rate: £125-£199 per day paid to scale ????
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated SEN Maths Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality education to students with special needs in Key Stages 3-4 working with students with behavioural issues, mental health concerns and learning barriers.
- This position is a full-time teaching role starting in January 2024 and has the potential to become permanent.
- You will be working in a Pupil Referral Unit PRU and teaching Maths to students up to KS4.
- As a SEN Maths Teacher, you will be patient, caring and able to build strong relationships with your students.
- Class sizes are small and there will be multiple support staff to assist learners with a range of difficulties and learning abilities.
- You will have experience teaching up to GCSE level and be confident in planning engaging lessons to help inspire the students.
- Teachers and students are well supported and work as a team to succeed.
✅As the ideal SEN Maths Teacher, you will:
- Have experience as an SEN Teacher or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of special educational needs and experience working with students with a variety of need.
- Have a Maths Teaching qualification and hold QTS.
- UK or UK ENIC UK-recognised teaching Qualifications plus UK experience
- Demonstrate positive behaviour management strategies and knowledge of the UK curriculum.
- Be flexible and reliable.
- Have competencies in liaising with other teachers.
