Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role in a welcoming village school? 4myschools is currently seeking a Part-Time PPA Teacher to join our client school, based in a small West-Essex Village.
The school are looking for a qualified teacher to commit to work one day a week for the 23/24 academic year to provide PPA cover. As the successfully appointed PPA teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a subject to the 5 classes covering EYFS – KS2. As a Part-Time PPA Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across the primary year groups, providing cover for planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time for the teaching staff. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, ensuring the continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teachers.
Additionally, we are seeking candidates with a subject specialism who can bring their expertise to enhance the curriculum delivery. Your subject specialism will allow you to contribute to the broader education of the students, sharing your passion and knowledge in a specific area. The school are open to discussion for what your preferred subject would be. PPA Teacher Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality lessons across the primary year groups during PPA time.
- Providing a safe and stimulating learning environment for all students.
- Planning and preparing lessons that meet the diverse needs of the pupils.
- Assessing and evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning and effective communication.
- Utilising your subject specialism to enhance the curriculum delivery and inspire students’ interest in the subject.
PPA Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in primary schools, preferably across different year groups.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Ability to create and deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a team and independently.
